I like that it has a belt loop (you can use a snap on the loop to get it on your belt) or just thread it through. It's a perfect fit. What I'm not sure about is how well this leather wallet will hold up with constant use. I don't think the stitching will last too long. And I'm a bit uncomfortable using a snap around a LCD display (maybe the next offering will use Velcro?) because I think it is easy to accidentally damage the display if I am not too careful getting the snap to close.If you prefer to store your favorite Thermapen in a case, I suggest the vinyl zipper wallet... Mine is real leather and I think the stitching is fine. The case has some light padding and is lined so my snaps haven't caused any damage to the display or the Thermapen plastic. I only use the belt loop occasionally so I can't vouch for its use as a "holster". But so far mine has not torn. I also have the vinyl wallet for an older Thermapen. I like it fine but it is bulkier and didn't have a belt loop. The leather one did have a strong odor of leather dye when I got it but it went away. All in all I think it is very much worth the price. Every leather (or vinyl) accessory I've ever bought for my ipod and cell phones have cost more than twice as much and some of them were not as nice as this (I normally shop Target for such things). I think its a fair value and I think it is worthy of the Thermapen and vice versa. |
